Balance and Harmony
Alessandra Borzacchini matured her great passion for Eastern traditions, from Islam to Japan, during her studies of art history and Japanese language. Travelling onward for business and curiosity through Japan, Thailand, Burma, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia, she found that beauty is spread everywhere in those aesthetic cultures. Then she become truly persuaded that an aesthetic approach to the habitat where we live and work daily is not superficial at all, but produces a resounding and emotional echo that we cannot disregard and that actually acts on our psyco-physical wellness. In this perspective, her study and practice of ancient decorative techniques, such as painting on boards, or on porcelain, gilding, stucco, faux mrble, affresco, combined with more modern materials like acrylic paints and resin, flew naturally in her own interior design brand : ORNAMENTS.
